This study aims to examine the implementation of ecotheology in developing students' religious character at Adi Widyalaya Gurukula Bangli, an educational institution based on Hindu values that integrates spirituality with environmental sustainability. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, this study involved observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, the principal, and students, and analysis of school documents. The results show that ecotheology is implemented holistically through the integration of Tri Hita Karana values into the curriculum, the utilization of the natural environment as a spiritual space, and the habituation of ecoreligious practices in daily life. The natural school environment and activities such as praying at the temple, offering sacrifices to nature, and caring for sacred environments are effective media in deepening students' religious understanding. Consequently, students demonstrate religious behavior that is not limited to rituals, but is also reflected in attitudes of environmental care, responsibility, and social empathy. Thus, ecotheology has proven to be a strategic approach in developing a holistic and contextual religious character. This study recommends the implementation of a similar model in other educational institutions as an effort to integrate character education, spirituality, and environmental sustainability.
