Abstract

Sad Dharma is the six noble teachings in the Hindu tradition in Bali, it is believed to be able to guide students in developing strong moral and ethical values. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, literature review and documentation study related to the application of Sad Dharma values in educational activities in educational units. Sad Dharma teachings include Dharma Wacana, Dharma Tula, Dharma Gita, Dharma Sadhana, Dharma Yatra, and Dharma Santi. The application of Sad Dharma teachings includes religious values such as truth (Satya), peace (Shanti), purity (Purna), wisdom (Jnana), compassion (Karuna), and sincerity (Bhakti), this plays a very important role in forming student character. These values are applied in daily activities such as intracurricular, co-curricular, extracurricular activities, as well as interactions between teachers and students. Character formation through Sad Dharma helps students to become individuals who are responsible, ethical and have a high social spirit. This research recommends that the Sad Dharma concept be better integrated into the curriculum and learning activities to strengthen the character of students in the future.
